Donald Trump’s approval rating among voters continues to decline. Results from the latest poll show that only about 40 percent of voters support Trump.
Notably, this is the lowest figure Trump has recorded during his second presidential term.
There are several reasons for this decline. Naturally, the country’s economic situation plays a primary role.
Inflation is gaining momentum, and prices are rising continuously. The recent increase in diesel fuel prices is clear evidence of this. At the same time, the layoff of more than 140,000 employees in budgetary organizations is among the factors increasing dissatisfaction.
It is no coincidence that the Federal Reserve recently raised interest rates to curb inflation, whereas the last increase had occurred in 2023.
In short, the main reason for the drop in Trump’s rating is the undesirable situation in the national economy.
Another reason is the war with Iran. Sixty-five percent of voters believe that a war with Iran is unnecessary.
