During my trip to America, I experienced many interesting and exciting moments. Naturally, I want to see something related to Azerbaijan everywhere I go.

Finally, my wish came true. While walking around New York City the other day, I came across Azerbaijani products in a shopping center.

Mainly our food products are sold here. For example, shelves mostly feature “Bagdan” juices, as well as “Azerçay” and “Bizim Tarla” products. Naturally, this brought a sense of pride to me, just like any Azerbaijani.

I would very much like to see Azerbaijani products more frequently in the United States.

However, today’s reality is far from my wishes. Currently, the US share in Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover stands at 3.1 percent.

Yet, there is reason to be optimistic. Azerbaijan-US trade relations are expanding year by year. For instance, in 2024, trade turnover increased by 94% compared to the previous year, reaching 1.7 billion US dollars.

Out of this, approximately 1.6 billion dollars account for imports, while 135 million dollars account for exports.

This high momentum was also maintained in 2025.

Most importantly, the US remains one of Azerbaijan’s main foreign trade and investment partners, with over 250 US companies currently operating in Azerbaijan.
