Le Marché Couvert des Enfants Rouges, Paris’s oldest market with a history spanning more than 400 years, has been destroyed in a fire, French publication L’Indépendant reported.
Details of the Incident
The fire broke out overnight into October 12 in the 3rd arrondissement of the French capital. Authorities reported that no casualties or injuries occurred in the incident.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and investigations are ongoing.
