Kirill Dmitriev Thanks Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner

Kirill Dmitriev thanked U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for their role in Ukraine peace negotiations as Moscow outlines potential talks in Abu Dhabi.

Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian President’s special representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign nations and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), has expressed gratitude to U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner for their participation in negotiations regarding Ukraine.

Writing on his official account on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Dmitriev praised their contributions to diplomatic dialogue, stating, “Thank you, peacemakers.”

Trilateral Negotiations and Proposed Abu Dhabi Round

The message follows statements from Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, who noted that Vladimir Putin conveyed readiness during a meeting with Steve Witkoff to resume trilateral talks on establishing a security architecture for Russia and Ukraine following November 10.

According to Ushakov, a new round of trilateral diplomatic discussions between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine could potentially take place in Abu Dhabi.
