The conflict between the United States and Iran has put a significant strain on both sides. While official casualty and asset figures have not been fully released, losses and military expenditures are estimated to be substantial.

US President Donald Trump has acknowledged that the war with Iran led to a decrease in the nation’s stockpiles for certain types of munitions. Miraz.TV reports that Trump made these remarks during an interview with Time magazine.

Defense Deals Signed to Replenish Arsenals

“Certain types of munitions are a little bit lower right now compared to others,” the US leader stated.

Trump added that agreements have been reached with leading defense contractors, including Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, to replenish US arsenals and expand defense manufacturing capacity.

The US president also noted that if an “acceptable deal” is not reached with Iran, Washington could resume strikes following the midterm elections.
