US President Donald Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not want to end the war and that attacks on Russian diesel refineries are damaging global fuel markets. Trump shared his views in a post on his Truth Social platform.
Trump Criticizes Strikes on Refineries and Foreign Aid
According to Trump, Zelenskyy does not want to end this war and likely never did, adding that he could have secured a much better deal two years ago. The US President stated that Zelenskyy targets refineries producing diesel in Russia while knowing that these attacks severely impact global diesel markets, including in the United States.
Trump noted that farmers, livestock operations, and diverse businesses are suffering as a result. “Zelenskyy doesn’t care. Frankly, with the massive financial aid Europe is giving him and the funds Joe Biden provided in the past, he doesn’t want to end this war,” Trump emphasized.

Claims Regarding Ukraine’s Losses and Russian Fuel
The US President claimed that Ukraine is in dire straits, having lost vast amounts of territory, with a significant portion of its male population killed or wounded. “His country is in ruins, most of its territory is lost, and it has no access to the seas. I want this war to end,” Trump declared.
Trump also pointed out that Russia continues to supply millions of barrels of diesel to world markets at discounted prices.
