Artificial intelligence developer Anthropic filed an amended Form S-1 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 2, 2026, reporting approximately $17 billion in revenue for the third quarter.
The revised filing builds on the firm's initial prospectus filed the prior week, which carried numbers through only June. Anthropic disclosed $33.24 billion in total revenue across the first nine months ending September 30, 2026, marking a rise of roughly 1,200% compared to the identical window in 2025. Over those nine months, the business recorded a net loss of $104 billion, driven mostly by fair-value changes tied to convertible notes and derivative liabilities, after a $25.1 billion loss in the same stretch of 2025. For the third quarter alone, the net loss reached $23.29 billion.
Compute Obligations Mount
The maker of the Claude model family also outlined roughly $895.4 billion in cumulative lease arrangements and purchase contracts. According to Anthropic's filing, the total represents obligations "substantially all of which is related to compute and infrastructure."
