A US court in Florida has issued an arrest warrant for former Cuban leader Raul Castro, NBC 6 reported.
1996 Incident and Charges
The 95-year-old Raul Castro is accused of involvement in the 1996 shooting down of aircraft over the Straits of Florida, an incident that resulted in the deaths of US citizens. Four other individuals are also charged in the case.
Possible White House Scenarios
The New York Times previously reported that the White House could potentially apply a Venezuela-style scenario in Cuba to apprehend Castro.
