Freed Hostages Reunited With Families

Twenty freed Israeli hostages were reunited with their loved ones on Monday, marking the culmination of multiple releases over the first 10 months of Trump’s presidency. Many families publicly thanked President Trump and his administration for orchestrating the final reunions.

The day was marked by the powerful Noa Argamani reunion with her partner, Avinatan Or. Argamani, held by Hamas for 246 days after being kidnapped on Oct. 7, 2023, was reunited with Or, who had been held captive for 738 days.

‘Against All Odds, We Came Home’

Two years passed since the last moment I saw Avinatan, the love of my life,” said Noa Argamani. “Two years since the moment terrorists kidnapped us, put me on a motorcycle, and tore me away from Avinatan before the eyes of the entire world.

Argamani noted she returned in a “heroic rescue operation,” while Or returned in a “deal.” She added, “But both of us, against all odds, came home and were reunited!

I cannot put into words the range of emotions I felt when I saw him for the first time after so long,” Argamani stated. “Each of us faced death countless times, and yet, after two years apart, we are finally taking our first steps together again in the State of Israel.

Israel Hostage Family Reactions Credit Trump

Lishay Miran-Lavi celebrated the return of her husband, Omri Miran, who was also taken captive on Oct. 7, 2023. He was abducted from their home’s safe room in front of his wife and two daughters.

Roni and Alma ran into their father’s arms, and he heard them say ‘daddy’ again,” Miran-Lavi said. “That moment fulfilled the promise I made on October 7, and healed something words cannot describe.

Thank you to President [Donald Trump] and the entire Trump Administration for their relentless efforts to bring Omri and the other hostages home,” she continued. “From the start you made our cause your mission, stood with the families, and never gave up.

Trump Knesset Address After Hostage Release

Following the release of the final 20 living hostages, President Trump delivered a Trump Knesset address to Israel’s parliament on Monday. During his presidential campaign last year, Trump had promised to bring the hostages home and end the war.

This week, against all odds, we have done the impossible and brought our hostages home,” Trump stated during his address.
