Azerbaijani Diplomats Attend Phoenix Foreign Relations Event

Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US Khazar Ibrahim and Consul General in Los Angeles Vugar Gurbanov joined a diplomatic breakfast hosted by the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations to discuss strategic partnership priorities.

Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Los Angeles, Vugar Gurbanov, and Ambassador to the United States, Khazar Ibrahim, attended a diplomatic breakfast hosted by the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations (PCFR) on October 7. The meeting focused on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy priorities and the expansion of the US-Azerbaijan strategic partnership.

During the session, the diplomats engaged in an exchange of views covering bilateral relations between the United States and Azerbaijan, regional security dynamics, and prospects for sustainable peace across the South Caucasus.

Energy Security and Trade Corridors

The discussions reviewed Azerbaijan’s role in regional energy security, alongside the growing importance of trade and transit corridors connecting Central Asia and the Caspian region to Europe.
