The Denver Broncos defeated the Cincinnati Bengals at home on Monday night, resulting in a final Broncos Bengals score of 28-3. The loss dropped both teams to a 2-2 record.
Cincinnati Bengals Offensive Struggles Continue
The Bengals offense without Joe Burrow faltered significantly throughout the contest. Backup quarterback Jake Browning completed 14 of 25 passes for 125 yards with no touchdowns.
The team converted just two of its eleven third-down attempts against the Denver defense. The Broncos sacked Browning three times and forced nine consecutive third-down stops during the game.
Star receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins were limited to a combined eight catches for 55 yards. Chase was seen expressing frustration to head coach Zac Taylor on the sideline.
Bo Nix Leads Broncos Offense
The Broncos’ offense, led by rookie Bo Nix, had a productive evening. The quarterback’s final Bo Nix stats Monday Night Football included completing 29 of 42 passes for 326 yards and two touchdowns against one interception.
Nix also contributed on the ground, scoring on a 6-yard rushing touchdown. Courtland Sutton led the receivers with five catches for 81 yards and a 20-yard touchdown.
J.K. Dobbins 100 Yard Game Broncos Milestone
Running back J.K. Dobbins provided a major boost to the Denver ground game.
He finished the night with 101 rushing yards on 16 carries.
This marked the first time a Broncos player has rushed for over 100 yards in 38 games. The last player to achieve the feat for the team was Latavius Murray in January 2023.

The Broncos established a 21-3 lead by halftime and never looked back. Marvin Mims and R.J.
Harvey also scored touchdowns for Denver in the dominant victory.
Following the loss, the Bengals will travel to face the Detroit Lions next week. Coach Zac Taylor will look to address the team’s issues, particularly on offense.
